Dr. Margaret N. (Peg) Rees and artist Sharon K. Schafer led travelers to Quito, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Travelers spent two evenings in Quito, the first city to be declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. They explored Quito’s history, art, and architecture with an included cultural tour of the city. After Quito, they departed on an incredible ten-day Galapagos experience onboard a privately chartered 16-person catamaran. The catamaran’s small size allowed for a very intimate, comfortable, and personal exploration of the islands.
